Had a "good" day today, after a "bad" night with not enough sleep and way too much pain. Though as I look back on it, exercising at 4:30 AM is rather funny. Followed by more Thera Flu. Boy I wished I owned stock in Thera Flu, I'd be rich!
Randy & I were able to go to Imax to see "Ring of Fire" about earthquakes and volcanoes. It was amazing, as are most of the Imax films. Then we took a small walk in front of the museum, sat on the bench and looked at the beautiful scenery. Downtown Denver against the magestic Rocky Mountains. As we looked at the glorious scene in front of us, we were grateful to live in such a beautiful place, where God's handiwork in shown daily.

Last Thursday I woke up to a snowstorm, and just felt "different". After getting my shipping done, I felt I needed to just take a break from work. It was a perfect day to make cookies, and I had a lot of fun making my favorite Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Before I got the first batch in the oven, I got a call from my Primary Care NP, asking me if anyone had contacted me regarding the results of my biopsy. No, no one had. She went over some stuff with me, then kind of hesitated. I asked her what the cytology report was. She said she didn't understand it as it's not her speciality, but I needed to call my Hepatologist, as the biopsy showed "abnormal cells".
I think it was then that I knew what I had been feeling for a couple of months now. I have Liver Cancer.
